Day 25: Thankful for FAMILY

One thing I am THANKFUL for is MY FAMILY
I am LOVED and TREASURED for WHO I AM and THEY just LET ME BE ME
WE are not GREEDY PEOPLE and ALWAYS try to be KIND
Yet, PISS us off or TREAT one of US wrong and WE DO SPEAK OUR MIND
MATERIAL THINGS that everyone needs to make their life complete
Like FANCY CARS, DIAMOND RINGS, and a NEW CELL PHONE every time you turn around is neat
Yet, when they TIME comes and THEY are NEEDED to LEND a HELPING HAND
THEY always have one excuse for the ones who need it most LIKE I CAN'T
MY FAMILY are the type that all you have to do is call
No matter where we are or what we are doing at the time
Doesn''t matter where you are or what you need at all
WE will be there for anyone because if not it bothers OUR MINDS

Even though OUR GRANDPARENTS have been gone 25 and 15 years
WE still KEEP THEM CLOSE to OUR HEARTS
Yes, we fight at times, bicker, laugh and love, there have also been some tears
WE keep their PRECIOUS MEMORIES CLOSE to US so we FEEL we've NEVER PARTED
Now, I have CHILDREN of MY OWN that I am BLESSED to RAISE
THEY also will know the VALUES I was TAUGHT until my dying days
YOU DO NOT REALIZE WHAT YOU HAVE UNTIL IT IS GONE
OUR FAMILY IS OUR LIFE OUR HEART AND WHAT WE CALL OUR HO



A FAMILY is not one that has the SAME BLOOD in their veins.
A FAMILY has UNCONDITIONAL LOVE for YOU.
THEY will be there to pull you through.
Whether it be through thick or be through thin.
YOU might fight and argue but you always remain FRIENDS.
Let me give you some advice that I treasure from MY NANNY that I want to pass to you.
GOD doesn't give you more than you can handle even the burden may weigh a ton.
HE doesn't forsake you nor turn his back on you. HE is forever present like the rising and the setting of the sun.
I know this may bring some tears to you as it is to me.
That is why my eyes are closed and I am typing this blindly.
ALL YOU have to do is have FAITH, HOPE & LOVE.
Then you will enjoy the BLESSINGS that only come from above.
There are MANY in my FAMILY that are in need of your GUIDING HAND.
HIM & YOU know who I am referring to I do not have to say a name.
I PRAY not only for them but also every other HUMAN. 
SHOULDN'T YOU BE DOING THE SAME?
MY FAMILY is MY HEART and MY HOME is where MY HEART is.
With the GRACE OF GOD and HIS ENCOURAGING words, I AM PROUD TO GIVE MY FAMILY THIS GIFT.
MAY GOD GUIDE YOU AND BLESS YOU IN ALL YOU DO.
YOU ARE NOT ALONE FOR GOD AND I ARE ALWAYS WITH YOU.................
