FIFTY-ONE years ago, YOU were born on this day
YOU brought into this earth two sons that are cousins of mine
I still love them too even though we don't see each other all the time
A few years ago YOU had a BAD HEALTH SCARE
WE NEVER GAVE UP because WE LOVE U and CARED
YOU were in a coma after you suffered your stroke
WE didn't take this lightly for LIFE and DEATH is no joke
FAMILY came from out of town and everywhere
WE ALL wanted the BEST FOR YOU so WE sent out many PRAYERS
WE know and are believers that PRAYERS do come through
When others thought there was NO HOPE, GOD gave US BACK YOU
Though YOU are still YOURSELF, somethings had been changed
ME, MY FAMILY & YOURS were GRATEFUL to have OUR JAMES
OUR LOVE for you is something we cannot hide
Some of US call you UNCLE while others call you CLYDE
WE were BLESSED that GOD didn't take you away
That's why I am able to write this to you on your BIRTHDAY
PRAYING GOD answers YOUR PRAYERS, WISHES, and DREAMS and that they all come TRUE
I KNOW THAT MINE WERE ANSWERED A FEW YEARS BACK BECAUSE I STILL HAVE U
I AM THANKFUL for the LOVE to US that YOU have always shown
YOU are one of the only TWO UNCLES that I have ever known
I know that if you PRAY hard enough, they will come true
For back when, WE AS A FAMILY, were sending them out, we got back you
YOU WERE BORN ON THIS DAY 51 YEARS AGO
HOW MUCH YOU REALLY MEAN TO US, YOU WILL NEVER KNOW
SO IN ORDER TO LET IT OUT AND SHARE IT TOO

I can see the sparkle in your eyes, like they just did
Those are moments I remember from when I was a kid
There's no-one I love or will there be another
Who could ever take CLYDE's place as my mom's youngest brother
You always liked to joke and pick on us
throw us into ponds and pies in the face
WE LOVE YOU and HONOR YOU so very much
there's NO-ONE else who could take your place
You are the youngest son of John & Esther Droddy
You grew up with five older sisters and one older brother
They cared for you and let you just be
But hugged you when you cried or bandaged your blisters like your mother
I was BLESSED when my mom gave birth to me
And that I was born a baby girl
I became another branch on the family tree
Another angel sent into this world
Along the way you had a few strokes
But that does not define the man
It did not leave you broken
And you still live your life the best you can
YOU are my UNCLE and a very SPECIAL ONE
For GOD could have taken you away
So you live your life and love everyone
FOR YOU EVERYDAY I DO PRAY!!!
I PRAY that GOD watches over YOU as YOU go through your life
That HE BLESSES and PROTECTS you but also your loving, selfless and beautiful wife
When two hearts come together it is hard to get undone
So that is why HE BLESSED you and sent you GIGI
He knew for you SHE was the right one
Now that you have her to share all these memories with you
I PRAY IN JESUS NAME that HE makes BOTH of YOUR DREAMS come true
For in my heart, I could not think of ANOTHER
That is more than deserving than MY MOM's BABY BROTHER.
